Behind Blue Eye?

Someone knows what it’s like
To find a blue eye ball,
A big blue eye ball,
While walking on a beach...

Thanks to Gino Covacci of Pompano Beach for inspiring today's post!

I've heard of keeping an eye out for someone . . . .

OK. Let's start with this - is that thing real? As in, a real eyeball from some now eyeless creature? I trust this is not the case, but, well, is it?

From the Tampa Fox News website:

"It was round in the sand," said Gino Covacci, who found the giant eye while walking on the beach Wednesday. "I just gave him a kick and it looked at me and I said, 'Wait a minute, this is an eyeball!' Mama Mia!"

According to the article, the eye is bound for St. Pete for further study. Only time will tell if this story has leg.

Ugh.

I remember back in elementary school in Salinas one day one of the teachers brought in a cow eye in a jar for science that was shared with all the classrooms. That was both cool and vaguely disturbing at the same time. You do feel like the thing is looking back at ya.

It took me time to read all the tips, but I clearly loved the post. It proved to be very helpful to me and I'm certain to all of the commenters here!
