...this one would be saying, "Thanks for saving me from the cat from Apartment A3--I was a goner for sure!"
No problem, man. Frankly, I don't like that little bastard. He's been trouble ever since he moved in. Hope my relocation effort put you in a better place.

Our cats in Singapore loved lizards. We had gekko-like things all over the place there so they were common prey. When we brought the cats back with us to the States, lizard parts pretty much left their diet. Once, however, we visited my mother-in-law at their Florida place. They had a nice, big, screened-in porch with a pool so the cats loved to loaf out there. And, once again, little lizards were available. One of our cats caught one, ate it, went inside, and promptly ralphed most of it back up again on the kitchen floor (guess Florida lizards aren't as palatable as Singapore lizards). If you knew my mother-in-law, you would begin to have some idea of just how horrible and objectionable it might be to have regurgitated lizard on your kitchen floor.
Considering the plethora of pesky pythons that are slithering across the Sunshine State, I think I'd probably be rescuing cats from reptiles if I lived there.
If one's cats roam unescorted, alligators are as likely to gobble 'em up as anything, I suspect.
