It occurs to us that this flick was written up awhile back by Mr B. in the comments section of our ode to Trout. But what the heck, Paula Prentiss and Maria Perschy are always worth another look.
Critics say the leading man should have really been Cary Grant, but we think Rock fills the part perfectly. Howard Hawks certainly made "better" movies, but this is a sentimental favorite of ours ever since seeing it on a summer vacation with the family, hanging in a hotel room on the road somewhere.
If you haven't seen it and don't want to wait for your next trip to the library, you can watch the whole thing on youtube: http://youtu.be/Fpkh44_z3xw

Really? This movie doesn't star Doris Day??? Maybe she was out busy shooting a different flick with Grant?
As for flicks and libraries, I'm currently busy watching Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2. Have to put Fishing on the back burner.
