Note: this represents just a small sample of T.Rex images in the TSG archives. Time and space considerations prevented us from displaying more pics from our dinofiles. We originally hoped to include a snapshot of Sue, but finding that photo CD proved to be harder than we expected.
Update: still can't find the photo CD w/Sue, but I did unearth this:

Excellent photo topic! Living more-or-less in the same town as Sue, I do believe I have a pic or two that I could share; I'll see what I can find.
I recognize the image from the opened book! I would think I still have that Golden Book of Dinosaurs (?) down in the basement somewhere.
Hmmm. While looking for my Sue shot, I think I also have a shot of me posing with the T-Rex head from Jurassic Park (and just the head; the rest of the body was not around at the time).
The opened book in this case is "The World We Live In" from 1955. It was a collection of articles and artwork from Life magazine that ran in 1953. The dino panorama ran in the September 7th issue:

There is also a "full sized" mural of this at the Yale Peabody Museum.
Didn't know that. Thanks for the link - the bronto/stegi painting was cool in a very '50ish kind of way. That kid's book I referred to with that picture had many more of similar ilk, as I recall. Probably a dumbed-down version of the Life articles.
I remember seeing that picture with Ed posing by the dino previously at this blog. A treasured rerun.
As for interesting T-rex-themed Youtube videos, click the link in my name to see a modern T-rex concept.
Hmmm...I thought I had posted that image before, but I was too lazy to go back and check. The Walking w/Dinos traveling show came through here awhile back. I almost went, but I didn't want to get stuck sitting next to a bunch of screaming kids.
