Yes, you could probably click on the images and check the names on the links, but that would hardly be sporting, would it? I suppose we could have gone back and changed the file names, but it was too much hassle to go back and do the whole thing over.

Ha! I could possibly hang a handle on one or two of these dudes, but such a meager offering would only look the poorer against such a full field.
What is amusing, I am sure, is that I am no doubt familiar with many signature (and possibly obscure) riffs attribute to these kindred spirits. To know them through their tuneage, however, is not to know them by their schnozes, chins, cheeks, and eyebrows.
This is not to say, however, that I did not take a good first and second gander at this line up. And I was able to make one definitive determination - were it not for their prowess and success in a band, I'm not sure that any of them would have had much success in the competition of spreading their genes about.
Oh hell, you're no fun at all..just kidding!
Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this post, I'll save them the trouble of pulling up the image links--here, in no particular order are the the first names of the axe-wielders featured in this soft-focus gallery:
Steve, Steve, Steve, Eric, Eric, Peter, Todd, Greg, Neil, Jimmy, Jeff, Ace, Bob, Phil, and Mick (and Scott--but I'm sure you would never have heard of him--besides, he's dead).
Hey, "death" is often an excellent career move for musicians of note (ha!).
And, in case anyone who stumbles upon this blog happens to wonder who I might have been thinking I had correctly eyeballed, it was Jeff. And Ace. Some of the other names I rather suspected were in the line-up, but I couldn't begin to match them with a particular mugshot.
