Do you know me?

Hi, my name is Kim McLane Wardlaw. I graduated from Pioneer High School in 1972.

I'm currently employed as a Federal Judge on the US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

All we at TSG can add to that is...WOW!

(This random factoid  unearthed as
the result of an online discussion--
wherein a female poster asked
(rather naively, IMHO)
  why guys have a thing
about cheerleaders.)

Little Kimmy (she was diminutive in stature, though I'm sure the high bench that typifies the average Federal Appellate Courtroom helps greatly in those regards) always did have a lot more going for her than just a cheerleader facade. Away from an in-crowd gang, she was bright, witty, and interested in others. Not bad qualities for a judge.

Speaking of random factoids, according to Wikipedia, Kim is considered the first Latina sitting on a Federal Appeals court (her mom having been Mexican American), and also that she is considered a strong candidate as an Obama nominee for the Supreme Court.

Rock on.
