Awesome photo, even if I do say so myself. I was sooooo happy to have this spot to myself on Monday morning. Without a doubt, this is one of the premier natural settings in the Bay Area. I can't tell you how disappointing it was when, on my last visit(probably 15 years ago), Patti and I came upon a all-male nude volleyball tournament happening on the beach below.Re: optical distress caused by Rose Garden Mosaic---sorry about that. I didn't feel like going thru every single image, so I mashed them all up. Maybe I should have embedded a secret message or something to make it more compelling.
Re: Giant Postcards--The example in question measures 6x9 inches. The "standard" size in the 1960s was 4x6. So the "Giant", being 125% larger, probably deserves the moniker.

Ok, the shot and the scene are way cool.
But I'm having trouble looking at that beach and not seeing little disturbing people prancing about batting balls. Volleyballs, that is. A "The Grunt People Spend a Day at the Beach" kind of fairytale image, if you will.
