Kink's 1985 "Word of Mouth" tour at Oakland's Henry J. Kaiser Auditorium
and Rockpile's 1990 stop at San Francisco's
soon-to-be-closed (say it ain't so!) Warfield Theater.

Ah, back when one could take real pictures with a real camera in a concert venue!
Now, folks have to make do with sneaking an occassional cellphone photo shot.
As for "ancient libraries," you were correct to line that out. These venues were not, I don't think, over by SJ Meat Company.
