So says the sand-written pledge TSG came upon recently in the Land of Adongo, kingdom by the sea.

Please excuse the slightly less-than spotless window. The management refuses to clean them (costs too much), and it's just about impossible to reach that section, even with a squeegee on a 12' pole.And the dirty pool...well that's an old story and a lost battle.

This giant grasshopper is just one of the many Ricardo Breceda metal sculptures scattered around Borrego Springs. The huge 'hopper is half of a tableau depicting an age-old confrontation, locked in an eternal stare-down with an equally outsized adversary.
