Train Kept A Rolling

Thought I'd stick with last week's theme and present a short slideshow of RR images from my last adventure. Included are some pics of the amazing Tehachapi Loop, which I was fortunate enough to see "in action" during my impromptu visit.

There IS something about trains. Little trains, big trains.

Nancy's grandfather was a railroad engineer. We have his official railroad pocket watch.

As long as we are focusing on this topic, if you haven't already read it, Ambrose's "Nothing Like It in the World," which is about building the transcontinental railroad, is a wonderful read.

About 15 train/railroad puns come to mind. I believe I shall show some mercy, and sign off sans pun.
