Curious postcards indeed, TSG. Especially that first one. That aside, good stuff, as dino-related content usually is. Be it a shabby, flimsy semi-horror flick from the 50's to a deep dive into some obscure archaeological dig in a National Geo mag.
Yeah, there's something about dinos that captured just about every kid's imagination (well, boys for sure...), and once that seed is sown, the fascination for terrible lizards lives on. If you're not familiar with "The Bone Wars", you might find the PBS American Experience episode "Dinosaur Wars" interesting. (and you might find the Drunk History episode about Cope and Marsh fairly amusing)
