If you're interested in seeing Ospreys, the Flamingo area of Everglades National Park is the place to go. In an hour's ramble, we saw at least a dozen, including this guy, who didn't take kindly to us walking up and getting a little too close to his lunch spot.
Good pix. Like 'em. We've got these guys all around us (including above us, making their telltale squeaky squawk). At the main park downtown there are a couple of osprey nest platforms outfitted with wifi cameras so locals can keep an eye on the newest neighbors in the hood.
