Trout For Lunch @ Jones Hole

Pretty cool bit of raven behavior seen today on our expedition to Jones Hole Fish Hatchery.

    Grubber bird. Various hungry and opportunistic birds in northern Illinois made it very hard indeed for folks to have a koi pond in their yards. Nice pix, TSG.

    As easy as that looks, I sort of expected to see a bunch of ravens lined up at the trough, but I only saw one. Maybe he hadn't gotten around to showing the trick to his/her flock...or maybe he/she wanted to keep his little fishing secret to him/herself.
