...Smell My Feet, Give Me Something Good To Eat...

  1. Wow. Some very imaginative folks going there. I especially liked the "birds" display, the witches gathered around the caldron, and the rat scarfing up the spider. The bathing skeleton with the shower cap was good, too - honorable mention for sure.

I must admit a bit of confusion regarding the rat scarfing up a spider. I had to go back and look at the video a couple of times and I'm not seeing it--am I missing something?(it wouldn't be the first time, ha ha) I'm guessing that you might be referring to the dragon eating the lawn gnome? Please advise.

Note about the soundtrack--although I ended up with this very nice choral version of (Don't Fear) The Reaper, the path to that song was a long and crooked one. I originally hoped to use the old standby of Disney's "Thrilling Chilling Sounds of the Haunted House" but then changed my mind and decided to go with a karaoke cover of Oingo Boingo's "Dead Man's Party"--due to technical issues that didn't work out, so I ended up (quite happily) with the Choir! Choir! Choir! rendition of the BOC classic. (Although I must say their version needs a little work in the cowbell department)

  4. The rat eating the spider (with gusto) appears around 1:15.

  5. Ah...now I see. No wonder I didn't get it--I guess that image proves the old adage, "One man's spider legs are another man's rubber rat whiskers". :-)

  6. Gruesome version of "You say toe-may-toe, I say toe-mah-toe."
