Larry being our jeep driver for this morning's tour of Fantastic Caverns ("America's only drive-through cave"). TSG lucked out and got the co-pilot seat and had a front-row view of our underground adventure. Thanks, Larry, for a fantastic (har har) experience!
Wow. I don't recall ever seeing a natural cave with an easy on your feet opportunity like this.
ReplyDeleteWell, for once, the advertising pamphlet is 100% true--they are America's only only drive-through cave. It's the only way to see it--no foot traffic allowed.
ReplyDeleteTrivia tidbit: the cavern's underground stage hosted country radio shows the Grand Ole Opera and Farmarama in the early 60s.
