Still not crazy ugly here - still under 4 bucks. I know, just give it time.
On the other hand, considering where those gas stations you depict are located, maybe they're counting on heat-dazed folks to simply pay any ol' price they post.
Editor's note: it's the same gas station--the sign has been modified slightly in the intervening years. The camera angle almost the same though--note the pylons and the street sign in the background.
