Shortly after the photo was taken a rather hefty male crewperson came onboard, so that accounts for one of the life vests. The woman's "worshipping" posture--she was clapping, seemingly to attract the harbor seals that were poking their heads up just out of frame. The dogs appeared to be taking it all in but I wonder what kind of interaction they might have with the seals or other aquatic lifeforms.
I count a couple of extra life vests. I hope she hasn't been throwing in live sacrifices to whatever deities she is worshipping there.
