Speaking of Ghidorah--or more accurately, giant Japanese movie monsters--I caught 2016's "Shin Godzilla" this weekend. Very "talky" in that it focused on the government bureaucracy's fumbling attempts to address the crisis, but it had some great city-smashing scenes as well. Much better than the 2014 version IMHO.

ReplyDeleteI have not seen Shin Godzilla (as I recall, "shin" means "new" in Japanese; rather appropriate). Gonna have to hunt that down.
