I kind of feel like I am still waiting for Part 2: The Empty Rocks.
WHY approach this water from that vantage point? Is there truly no better place, like a beach? Is this surfer trying to cheat by not having to paddle out to where you catch a wave?
Maybe some new, slightly re-worked lyrics are in order:
"Catch a wave, and you're smashed on the top of the world."
