(Seen a couple of weeks ago during our visit to HA)

No, we're not talking about Uncle Walter--although he certainly is a legend. We're talking 'bout the guy with the hair and the sunglasses. Looks like he's holding a gun. Wants more cheese on his pie. Yeah, the guy on the right.

Who is he?  (Bonus points if you can tell us his connections with The Who and Stephen King.)

Fabulous prizes may be in the offing, so get your answers in soon!

Shades and hand-held heat, and the brass to be complaining about the food when signing in as a celebrity. I'd say Phil Spector. I don't remember Phil looking so buff, however. Phil always looks like 5 miles of bad road (and that's on a good day). Not sure that PS would count as "obscure," either, though he certainly scores mucho "legendary" points.

Hmmm...I'm not aware of any meaningful collaborations between Phil Spector and The Who or Stephen King.

Our mystery man has been on the rock 'n' roll scene almost as long, though. Besides his involvement with The Who (and the Stones, among others), he was onstage one fateful night in 1965 for the most electric performance ever seen at a certain well-known festival.

As far as his connection(s) with Stephen King, I know this is a tough question, but (hint, hint) I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Kenny Jones?

Kenny did do a stint with The Who (not to mention the Flying Mobilemouth Brothers!)-- but I don't think he did any work with the bestselling author.

Hmmm...I can't think of a clue that won't give it away...

Okay, this probably won't help at all, but it's safe to say that this artist stood alone when he released his first solo album back in 1968.
